e.g. AppDev_261016~29 (started on Oct 16, ended on the 29th)
Save the following rule to memory. When a chat starts, rename it to "Summary_yymmdd~??". - Summary: a short description of what the chat is for. - yymmdd: the start date (6 digits, e.g. 261016). - "??": leave it as is until the chat ends. e.g. AppDev_261016~??
Save this rule to memory. When you say you're ending the chat, Claude runs it; paste the prompt it writes into the new chat.
Save the following rule to memory. When I tell you to end the chat, do the following: - Create and save a handoff file. - Also write a prompt that tells a new chat to read it. - Change the "??" in the chat name to the end date (day only). e.g. AppDev_261016~?? → AppDev_261016~29
Rather than being asked every time whether something can be deleted, it's easier to set it aside and decide later yourself.
Save the following rule to memory. Don't delete files you're unsure about (photos that might be unusable, duplicates, files whose purpose is unclear, etc.). - Create a "hold" folder inside that working folder and move them there. - Report what you moved as a list. - Temporary files you created yourself are not included.
Claude points it out in a line or two without stopping the work. It works best if you also save your own rules (e.g. check demand before building) to memory.
Save the following rule to memory. When I seem to be drifting from the rules I've set, point it out first. - Don't stop the work; say it in one or two lines. - When you disagree, always offer an alternative. - Don't repeat the same point twice in one chat. - If I say I'll go ahead anyway, drop it.
Stops Claude from asking whether you did something before that time has even come.
Save the following rule to memory. Before asking about anything tied to a time (like "Did you do X at 6:00?"), check the current time. If that time hasn't come yet, don't ask.
